It was the turn of our Year 3 and 4 Quicksticks Hockey team to take part in a tournament at Robert Smyth Academy against other local schools at the end of last term. 

Kicking things off with drills sets before playing 2 matches, the team did us proud, showing great sportsmanship, teamwork and fun. Winning one match and losing the other, the team had smiles throughout and showed the true character of Great Bowden Academy.

Well done all, you should be very proud of yourselves. Thank you as always to South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership for putting on this event, and to Robert Smyth for hosting.
