At Great Bowden Academy, we understand the importance of flexible childcare for busy families. That’s why we’re pleased to offer Wraparound Care provided by Premier Education, available before and after school every day the school is open.

Premier Education offers a safe, secure, and fun environment that both children and parents can trust. Sessions are run by trained professionals and provide a warm and engaging space for pupils outside of school hours. Activities are planned and tailored to suit every interest, including creative crafts, board games & toys, traditional play activities, construction play (e.g., LEGO). All in a friendly and inclusive environment designed to help children wind down, play, and enjoy time with friends.

Easy Online Booking

Booking is quick and simple via the Premier Education website: www.premier-education.com/parents/venue/courses/9789

Once booked, you'll receive an instant email confirmation, and you can manage or amend bookings online. Last-minute changes? No problem—bookings can be made up to 60 minutes before a session, and the ‘flexi bookings’ option allows no-questions-asked refunds for missed sessions.

Session Times & Pricing*

Early Breakfast Club (7:30am-8:45pm) - £6 per session
Children will receive a healthy breakfast.

Breakfast Club (8:00am -8:45pm) - £4.50 per session
Children will receive a healthy breakfast.

After-school Club (3.15pm-4.45pm) - £7.50 per session
Children will receive a light tea after the school day.

Extended After-school Club (3:15pm-6:00pm) £10 per session
Children will receive a light tea and a small snack after the school day.

Siblings automatically receive a 15% discount when booking online (7.5% per child)

Extra-Curricular Activities

We also offer a range of after-school clubs for pupils. This includes free after-school sports activities for Reception to Year 2 on a Monday, and Years 3 - 6 on a Tuesday. Plus, we host a variety of other after- school clubs such as French, dance, choir, GBRT’s ‘Music Makers’ and science lessons, as well as holiday clubs. External providers also provide lessons in singing, guitar, bass, ukulele, flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder, fife, ocarina and piano.
