Wraparound Care and Clubs

We are pleased to inform you that we now offer wraparound care at Great Bowden Academy. This service is provided by Premier Education and runs before and after school every day the school is open. This service is subject to demand and minimum bookings being met.

Premier Education's promise is a safe, secure, and a fun environment that children, and parents, can trust. Booking is simple via Premier Education's online booking system:

Premier Education Wraparound offer the following:
● A simple online booking system where parents book and receive instant email confirmation. It is easy to use and track bookings.
● Access to a wide range of activities for children from gymnastics to gardening, alongside the
traditional play activities you would expect, such as board games, toys, Lego, etc.
● A fully responsive support team who will be ready to take any calls, queries and reply to emails with a quick turnaround.
● Bookings are available up to 60 minutes before the session in case of any last-minute changes of plan.
● No questions asked refunds for missed session with the 'flexi bookings' option.

The costings for this service*:

Breakfast Club (7:30am-8:45pm) - £5.50
Children will receive a healthy breakfast.

After-school Club (3.15pm-4.45pm) - £6.00
Children will receive a light tea after the school day.

Extended After-school Club (3:15pm-5:30pm) £9.00
We also offer an extended after-school club where children will receive a small snack in addition to a light tea.

*Prices as of academic year 2023/24.

Extra-Curricular Activities

We also offer a range of after-school clubs for pupils. Our sports coach, Mr Kadiri, runs free after school activities for Reception to Year 6 twice a week. Plus, we host a variety of other after- school clubs such as French, dance, choir, GBRT’s ‘Music Makers’ and science lessons, as well as holiday clubs. External providers also provide lessons in singing, guitar, bass, ukulele, flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder, fife, ocarina and piano.
