Vision Team

Our vision ambassadors represent the whole school, working together to make sure that the ways we worship, organise the school, look after the school and look after each other reflect our school vision.

Every class nominates three pupils each year.  Pupils are selected via a voting system. Children first nominate themselves, then address the class with a speech before the class vote on who they believe should represent the class.

These pupils join one of the following vision groups:

    • Worship
    • Running ur school (formerly the school council)
    • Looking after our school environment (formerly the eco schools team)

The vision groups will meet regularly with staff members, with classmates and with each other to make sure that our vision is clearly embedded in the work we do for and with each other around the school.

Class ambassadors will fill in for each other in roles if someone is away and a job needs doing.

Sports Ambassadors

Our Sports Ambassadors work together to help promote, engage and facilitate sport throughout the school. We have 4 Sports Ambassadors in the school, selected from year 5 and 6.

In collaboration with South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership (SLSSP), the Sports Ambassadors have to apply for the position. After presenting their speech on why they should hold the position to the class, applicants are selected via a vote.

SLSSP then work with the new year 5 ambassadors to give them full training on the role and responsibilities. The Sports team meet regularly and are given projects and tasks such as setting up sports clubs during lunchtimes and making sure the PE shed is clean and kept tidy.
