What fantastic World Book Day masks were on show today – so many wonderful designs and fabulous book characters. You could see how much effort you had all made, we hope you found it fun.

To celebrate this special day, we had a fun morning reading to each other and sharing our books. Year groups mixed so the older children could hear the younger ones and we could all share our love of books and reading. We had a really lovely day.

And World Book Day doesn’t stop there for us. We have Quinns the Bookshop setting a pop-up shop in the hall on Friday 10^th March from 3.30pm. Children will be able to exchange their World Book Day voucher for a free World Book Day book, or use it as £1 off a full price book. PLUS the lovely people at Quinns have also said they will donate 10% of all money taken at the pop-up as credit to the school to spend on more books! How lovely is that?
