We had some very special visitors recently — the Wombles in Litter Education (W.I.L.E) came to school to talk to us all about litter education.

The whole school enjoyed a fascinating presentation, the children were especially shocked to learn about the amount of time it takes for rubbish to decompose. It really got us thinking.

After the session, our amazing Eco Ambassadors led a litter pick around the school grounds, inspiring another group of pupils to carry out a second litter pick in The Reading Garden that afternoon.
