Earlier this term, Classes 3 and 4 had a truly golden opportunity – a visit from Mr and Mrs Wallace. Ken Wallace discovered the incredible Hallaton Treasure and gave a fantastic talk about how he did it.

The children were absolutely fascinated hearing first-hand how Mr Wallace uncovered such an amazing find and learning all about the careful process behind it. We even got a live demonstration of how a metal detector works – a real highlight.

A huge thank you to Mr and Mrs Wallace for giving us such an inspiring and informative talk. Who knows – we may have some future treasure hunters in our midst!
