We’ve had such an exciting moment at Great Bowden Academy - one of our football-loving Year 3 students recently became penfriends with none other than Bukayo Saka!

It all started when he decided to send an Easter card to his footballing hero, with a little help from Mrs Wilson. The card was full of kind wishes — and to our amazement, Saka wrote back.

Last week, we received a lovely letter from Bukayo, along with a signed photo of himself and his Arsenal team. Our aspiring footballer was absolutely over the moon.

His special surprise has now inspired a few of his classmates to write to their idols too — who knows what exciting replies might be on their way?
