Hands-On Science: What Makes Up Blood
.png)
As part of their science topic on the human circulatory system, Class 5 have been diving into the fascinating world of blood and its components — and what better way to learn than by making their own model of blood!
Using water with yellow food dye for plasma, red-dyed cereal hoops for red blood cells, marshmallows for white blood cells, and raisins for platelets, the children created a hands-on (and very memorable!) model to show how each component works together inside our bodies.
A brilliant, interactive lesson that brought their learning to life — well done, Class 5.
