Class 1 have been busy exploring the world of maps and dens during Forest School this term – and what a brilliant adventure it’s been.

 To begin, the children built mini-dens for some very cuddly visitors (our soft toy friends) and carefully considered where to place them around the Forest School area. There were even some strategic relocations after thoughtful discussion!

Once their dens were ready, the children marked their locations on a Forest School map with a red dot. Later, using their maps, they navigated back to collect their teddies and proudly crossed them off the list. Such fantastic learning through play and exploration.
