Class 3 and Class 4 have kicked off an exciting new Design & Technology project, working towards creating their own moving toys.

Last week, the children focused on developing their sawing skills, practising both straight and diagonal cuts to create neat corners and accurate shapes. This careful preparation is an important step in the design process — and they did a fantastic job.

We’re really impressed with their focus, resilience and growing confidence when using tools safely. We can’t wait to see how their toy designs develop over the coming weeks.
