Yesterday, our Key Stage 2 pupils enjoyed a truly memorable assembly with award-winning author and comedy writer Emily-Jane Clark, best known for The Beasts of Knobbly Bottom. She visited to share her brand new book Cringe Club, engaging the children with stories about all things “cringe.”

After her talk, Emily-Jane answered questions from the audience and then stayed to sign copies of Cringe Club for students to take home. The children were captivated—and many are eager to dig into their new books already!
