We are very excited to announce that author Emily-Jane Clark will be visiting Great Bowden Academy on Wednesday 17th September to celebrate the release of her brand-new novel Cringe Club: Volume 1. Emily-Jane is also the writer of the popular Beasts of Knobbly Bottom series, and we are delighted to welcome her into school.

We will hold a special assembly in the morning for all our Key Stage 2 pupils, (classes 3, 4 and 5), where Emily-Jane will give an interactive talk about her work, share insights into life as an author, and inspire our young readers and writers. This will be followed by a Q&A session, giving children the chance to put their own questions to the author, before finishing with a book signing.

Pupils will have the opportunity to get their copy of Cringe Club: Volume 1 signed at the end of the session. To make things simple, Quinns Bookshop have set up a pre-order page where books can be purchased in advance at the reduced price of £7. Pre-ordered copies will be delivered to school on the day of the visit.
